By using tools promoted by Health and Welfare Canada, such as the Food Guide, the Vitality Message and Physcial Activity Guide, we at Food for Life are promoting the whole "VITALITY" message of eating well, exercising regularly, and feeling good about ourselves!
Most of these wonderful recipes are just old faithfuls that have been reduced in fat, sugar, salt, or all three ingredients to make the food we eat healthier, yet still be appealing in prentation, texture and especially flavour. As you try these recipes, be assured they have been tested by our members to pass the taste, aroma, and presentation tests.
